MISSIONS

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20

Upcoming Missions Trips

Asheville, North Carolina with Convoy of Hope

Dominican Republic with Convoy of Hope

Our missions team is heading to Asheville this week (4/19 - 4/24) to partner with Convoy of Hope as they continue helping repair and restore communities impacted by the hurricane. Even years later, there are still families and neighborhoods rebuilding—and we’re honored to send a team from Adventure Church to serve, love, and minister to the people there. Would you join us in praying this week? Pray for safe travels, strength, and opportunities to share hope and encouragement with everyone they meet. ❤️ Let’s cover our team and the city in prayer!
This fall, we will be headed to the Dominican Republic with Convoy of Hope! The Dominican Republic shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti and is susceptible to natural disasters and recurrent shocks. The country has experienced economic decline, perpetuating hunger and food insecurity — poverty affects more than 20% of the population. With the majority living in urban areas, 63% of low-income families are led by women. Food insecurity is caused by a weak agricultural structure and a lack of diverse diets. Limited access to healthy food also contributes to a high rate of anemia among children.

In 2022, through partnership, Convoy of Hope launched Children’s Feeding in the Dominican Republic, providing regular, nutritious meals in schools. These nutrient-enriched meals address malnutrition and anemia for children in this context. Convoy of Hope has also implemented agriculture programming in the Dominican Republic in an effort to
create long-term food security and sustainability. Convoy requires all Field Team participants to be 18 & up.
