The life you have is often a reflection of the thoughts you think.

If you don’t control what you THINK, you will never control what you DO.

2 Corintians 10:3-5 (NIV)
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

There is POWER in your PERSPECTIVE.

COGNITIVE BIAS is a DEFAULT FILTER.

FACTS are the SAME. but the FILTERS are DIFFERENT.

Re-framing: Creating a different way of looking at a situation or relationship by changing its meaning.

You can’t control what happens to you, but you can control how you frame it.

Philippians 1:12-13 (NIV)
Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. 13 As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ.

Philippians 1:14(NIV)
And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.

I Peter 5:8-9 (NLT)
Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.

  1. THANK God it’s not as BAD as it COULD BE!

CHALLENGE it, so you can CHANGE it.

  1. PRAISE God for His GOODNESS!

You will FIND what you are LOOKING for!

Romans 8:28 (NLT)
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Acts 16:22-26 (NLT)
A mob quickly formed against Paul and Silas, and the city officials ordered them stripped and beaten with wooden rods. 23 They were severely beaten, and then they were thrown into prison. The jailer was ordered to make sure they didn’t escape. 24 So the jailer put them into the inner dungeon and clamped their feet in the stocks. 25 Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. 26 Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!

Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV)
I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
