The Lord’s Prayer – Lead Me

FOLLOW ME to BELIEVE in ME.

Luke 11:1 (NIV)
Lord, teach us to pray.

Matthew 6:9-10 (NIV)
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:11 (NIV)
Give us today our daily bread.

Provision, Pardon and Protection.

Protection from ME & the Devil’s SCHEMES.

1 Peter 5:8 (NLT)
Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Help me SEE the Devil’s SCHEMES.

Matthew 6:12 (NLT)
And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.

Matthew 6:13 (NIV)
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Hebrews 4:15 (NIV)
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.

Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Sin NOW and ask for forgiveness LATER.

Matthew 6:13 (NASB)
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

You can’t PLAN evil and then PRAY to be delivered from it.

The best way to protect ME from ME is to let Jesus LEAD.

Self-Protection

Self-Gratification

Why am I here?

WHO am I here for?

Don’t be content to be a BELIEVER…be a FOLLOWER.

Matthew 6:13 (NIV)
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Temptation leads you to LOSS. Following Jesus leads you to LIFE.

Matthew 6:9-13 (NIV)
“‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11  Give us today our daily bread. 12  And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one

Matthew 6:13b (NJKV)
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

When you pray:

– Address God as Father.

– Declare His Greatness.

– Surrender Your Will.

– Acknowledge Your Dependence. (Provision. Pardon. Protection)

No matter where you’re AT, Jesus meets you where you ARE.
