Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
“Poor in spirit” is recognizing that I am spiritually poor. Utterly Helpless, Spiritually Bankrupt, one who realizes their need for God.
Matthew 5:4 (NIV)
Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.
“Happier is the one who is sad, for they will be comforted.”
Sin (Hamartia) = to miss the mark
The comforts of this world will fade away, the comfort Jesus gives us will never fade.

It all starts with REPENTANCE.
Repentance (metanoia) = “To think differently afterwards” or “turn a different direction”
Repentance is a GIFT.
