Matthew 6:19-24 (NIV)
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy,[d] your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

The key to living a BLESSED life is a GENEROUS life.

Acts 20:35b (NLT)

You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more BLESSED to GIVE than to RECEIVE.’

When it comes to your money, no matter how much you have, you have to be mindful of where it’s going.

You REAP what you SOW.
Galatians 6:7 (NIV)

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

Luke 6:38 (NIV)
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

You reap AFTER you sow.

If you have a NEED plant a SEED.

You reap MORE THAN you sow.

Mark 4:8 (NIV)

“Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.”

2 Corinthians 9:10 (NLT)

For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.

What you KEEP is all you have, what you GIVE God MULTIPLIES.

2 Corinthians 9:6 (NLT)
Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.

2 Corinthians 9:8 (NLT)

And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

2 Corinthians 9:11-12 (NLT)

Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. 12 So two good things will result from this ministry of giving—the needs of the believers in Jerusalem will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God.

We should feel RESPONSIBLE and ACCOUNTABLE because we are.

When it comes to your money…

  1. TRACK your TRANSACTIONS
  2. REVIEW your RESULTS
  3. ADJUST spending ACCORDINGLY.

You always reap in a different SEASON than you SOW.

Galatians 6:9 (NLT)

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
