“They are too alive to die, and too dead to live.” – Byung Chul Han

SLOW DOWN the PACE of your RACE.

More TIME is not the ANSWER.

What you give your ATTENTION to is the person you BECOME.

We must learn to say no to GOOD things to say yes to the GREATER things.

 Matthew 11:28-30 (RSV)
“COME to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. TAKE my yoke upon you, and LEARN from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

If you want to experience the LIFE of Jesus, you have to adapt to the LIFESTYLE of Jesus.

Habit 1: SILENCE & SOLITUDE.

Mark 1:35 (NIV)
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Mark 1:36-37 (NIV)
Simon and his companions went to look for him, 37 and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”

Mark 1:38 (NIV)
Jesus replied, “Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.”

Our quiet time with God is typically the first thing to go, rather than our first go to.

Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
