Our PAST experiences shape our PRESENT perspectives.

HURT people, HURT people.

My past will REMIND me, not DEFINE me.

RELEASE the past, so the past can RELEASE you.

Ephesians 4:27,31-32 (NIV)
27
And do not give the devil a foothold. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

FORGIVEN people, FORGIVE people.

Forgive YOURSELF.

Forgive OTHERS.

FORGIVENESS is the only way to FREEDOM.

Acts 9:3-6 (NLT)

As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?” “Who are you, lord?” Saul asked. And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting! Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

God can transform the HARDEST of HEARTS.

God’s love IN us COMPELS us and CHANGES others.

Romans 2:4 (NLT)
Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

1 John 4:19-20 (NIV)
We love because he first loved us. If anyone says “I love God” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.

A GIFT is only beneficial if it’s GIVEN away.

Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV)
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

RECEIVE the gift of FORGIVENESS.

GIVE the gift of FORGIVENESS.
