A world view answers 4 basic questions:
- How did we get here? = Origin
- Why are we here? = Meaning
- What is right? = Morality
- Where are we going? = Destiny

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

In our culture FEELINGS become FACTS.

Biblical Worldview = Please God -> Be holy -> Submit/Surrender to Holy Spirit
Humanistic Worldview = Please self -> Be happy -> Submit/Surrender to self

Humanistic worldview = truth is subjective
Biblical worldview = universal objective truth.

We are called to STAND OUT not BELND IN.

We need to bring our BELIEFS into alignment with the BIBLE.

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
Our goal isn’t to be RIGHT but show people how to be made RIGHT with GOD.
Those with opposing views are not our ADVERSARY, they’re our ASSIGNMENT.
Colossians 3:1-10 (NLT)
Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 2 Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. 3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.5 So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. 6 Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming. 7 You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world. 8 But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. 9 Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. 10 Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.
